Happy Snow Day

Rose and I decided today we would not venture out into the tundra of Lincoln and so called up school to be told we "wouldn't be penalised if we didn't turn up" which was music to my ears, quite frankly! There was no way I was walking 3 miles to school ankle-deep in freezing snow.
So I put on an apron and baked some pink gingerbread snowmen :) I make gingerbread men all the time. I've tweaked recipes and so far no one's complained!

This is a gingerbread actual snowman, covered in icing and decorated with icing pens! If more time and thought was put into it, I would have decorated it properly!


At least this gives me times to update yesterday, too.
At around half 5 I woke up and got ready to go to LONDON! It was a School trip for History to go to the Imperial War Museum.
We left at around 8 and go there gone 11. Most of my day was spent on the Minibus yesterday - I was so achey and tired when I got back. But it was an awesome day. We saw a protest, the tourist attractions of London and a gazillion Sainbury's- big and small. And with the advice of Lorelai Gilmore, had been listening to Highway To Hell for the duration because a roadtrip isn't a roadtrip without some AC/DC.

Speaking of which, I have 2 episodes to watch.
